BANSIC seeks to ensure that people can gain access to the services they require. The information available at BANSIC is an extensive, advanced, comprehensive collection of material that is constantly up-dated and reviewed for relevance to community needs and enquiries. A wide range of enquiries are taken by volunteers trained in searching and retrieving information from data base, pamphlets and directories.
Enquiries include:
How to make a will/power of attorney etc.
Disputes with neighbours
Pest control
Conflict within families
Information on emergency accommodation
English classes for migrants
Consumer complaints
Recreation activities for ALL and many, many more!
Volunteers at BANSIC have completed an accredited Training Course. Life experience and knowledge contribute to the skills required to deal effectively and impartially with the enquiries and needs of all in the community. There is time to listen at BANSIC. A full referal service to contact agencies is available.
